Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tritech, a multi-vendor marketplace where users can buy and sell regular and gaming laptops within Albania. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

  1. Tritech is a marketplace platform registered and operating in Albania, enabling users aged 18+ to list, sell, and purchase laptops.
  2. Tritech acts as an intermediary: we provide listing, payment holding, and managed shipping services, but we are not the seller of any laptop listed on the platform.
  3. These Terms apply to all users—buyers, sellers, and visitors of the platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Tritech, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid email, phone number, and identification document
  • Agree to submit accurate and truthful information

Tritech reserves the right to remove or block accounts suspected of fraud or misuse.

3. Listing & Categories

Sellers may list laptops in two categories only:

  • Regular Laptop
  • Gaming Laptop

All listings must include:

  • Accurate specifications
  • Real images of the device
  • Honest condition description
  • Serial number (only visible to admin)

Tritech performs an online verification of documents and listing details before approving a listing. Listings that violate rules may be rejected.

4. Commissions & Fees

  1. Tritech keeps a 20% commission on every successfully completed sale. This covers the VAT amount required to be paid for each transaction to the Tax Institution.
  2. Additional payment processing fees are applied automatically by the payment processor (not controlled by Tritech).
  3. Sellers pay no subscription fees. Tritech operates a pay-per-sale model only.
  4. Buyers pay a shipping fee of 200 lek, added at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  1. Tritech manages the full transportation process:
    • Pickup from the seller
    • Delivery to the buyer
  2. Shipping typically occurs within 1–3 days depending on location.
  3. The buyer receives the laptop and has up to 3 days to verify that the device matches the seller’s description.

6. Payment Flow & Buyer Protection

  1. Buyer may pay:
    • Online (recommended)
    • Cash on delivery
  2. For online payments, Tritech holds the payment until:
    • The laptop is delivered to the buyer, and
    • The 3-day verification period ends
  3. If the buyer confirms or does not open a dispute within 3 days after laptop delivered,
    payment is released to the seller.
  4. Returns are allowed only if the laptop is NOT as described.
    Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

7. Disputes & Returns (3-Day Rule)

A buyer may request a return within 3 days only if:

  • The laptop does not match the description
  • The condition was misrepresented
  • The laptop is faulty in a way not disclosed in the listing

If a dispute is opened:

  • Tritech reviews the case, including evidence (photos, videos, messages).
  • If approved, the laptop is returned to the seller.

8. Seller Liability & Penalty

If a laptop is returned because it was inaccurately described, the seller must pay a penalty of 2,000 lek, which includes:

  • Shipping costs
  • Handling cost
  • Administrative processing

This amount is automatically deducted from the seller’s future payout or must be paid before using the platform again.

Sellers who repeatedly misrepresent items may have their accounts suspended.

9. Prohibited Items

Sellers may NOT list:

  • Stolen laptops
  • Devices with iCloud/BIOS/firmware locks
  • Laptops with counterfeit software
  • Devices without serial numbers
  • Laptops containing personal user data

Sellers must wipe all data before pickup.

10. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide truthful information
  • Not engage in fraudulent activity
  • Respect platform rules
  • Communicate respectfully

Tritech may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.

11. Limitation of Liability

Tritech:

  • Does not guarantee the quality or condition of laptops listed by sellers
  • Is not responsible for personal data left on devices
  • Is not liable for external damages occurring after delivery
  • Is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, force majeure, or user unavailability

Our role is strictly an intermediary between buyer and seller.

12. Account Termination

Tritech may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Fraud
  • Repeated disputes
  • Abuse or harassment
  • False information
  • Attempts to bypass payment systems

Users may request account deletion at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania.
Any disputes, if unresolved through Tritech’s internal process, may be addressed in Albanian courts.
